Bessie (Butler) Hammer

Bessie (Butler) Hammer, of West Hartford, formerly of East Hartford, died Monday, October 17, 2011. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Rose (Vine) Butler. She leaves her son, Arthur Koffinke and her daughter, Doris Bunce both of Las Vegas, NV; her sister Edith Kraimer of West Hartford; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Esther Baer and her brother, Louis Butler. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Temple Beth Torah Memorial Park, Jordan Lane Ext., Wethersfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Hebrew Healthcare Hospice, 1 Abrahms Blvd, West Hartford 06117. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford.
