Benjamin (K.) Litofsky

LITOFSKY, Benjamin K. Litofsky, 91 years of age, of West Hartford, formerly of Brooklyn, NY and Sunrise, FL, died peacefully Monday, March 23, 2009. He was the husband of the late Belle (Edoff) Litofsky. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Mikel and Sadie (Shanken) Litofsky. He leaves his beloved daughter Harriet Elbaum and her companion Harvey Smith of West Hartford and son Barry Litofsky and his wife, Francine of Sanibel, FL; loving grandfather of Jonathan and Brian Litofsky, and Jeff and Meredith Elbaum; and great-grandfather of Justin and Jason Litofsky, and Dara, Shayna and Bethany Elbaum. He also was the beloved uncle to several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 27, 2009 at Star of David Memorial Chapel, North Lauderdale, FL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hebrew Home & Hospital, 1 Abrahms Blvd., West Hartford, CT 06117. Harriet will receive visitors on Tuesday, March 31 at 7:00 PM at her home in West Hartford.
