Beatrice Bea’ Rosenberg, 91, of West Hartford, formerly of Bloomfield and Delray Beach, Florida, died Saturday, (December 17, 2011). Bea was married for 65 years to Jerome Jerry’ Rosenberg, who passed away in 2007. She was born and raised in Hartford, the daughter of William and Anna Rosenberg, and is the last survivor of their seven children. She graduated from Weaver High School and worked for many years at the former G. Fox & Company store in Hartford, receiving its award for more than 25 years of dedicated, exemplary service. She and Jerry were long time members of Beth Shalom Synagogue in Hartford which became Beth Hillel Synagogue in Bloomfield. Bea leaves two devoted daughters, Anndee Robinson and her husband, Attorney Richard C. Robinson of West Hartford, and Debra Michaud and her husband Daniel Michaud of Rocky Hill; four grandchildren, Julie Levy and her husband, Jerrold, Amy Federman and her husband, Eric, Rachel Kolb and her husband, Kyle, and Marshall Trigg and his wife, Carrie; along with eight great-grandchildren, Arielle Levy, Talia Levy, Jacob Federman, Samuel Federman, Vincent Lena, Hanna Kolb, Alli Kolb and Emma Trigg. Funeral services will be Monday, December 19, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Beth Hillel Synagogue Cemetery, Wolcott Rd., East Granby. A memorial period will be observed Monday following the interment through Tuesday evening at the home of Bea’s daughter, Anndee Robinson, 62 Emily Way, West Hartford. The family wishes to thank Bea’s wonderful caregivers, Nela Remecio and Rosie Gomez and all the staff at Hoffman Summerwood Community in West Hartford where she lived happily among friends during the last four and a half years of her life.
