Barrie (K.) Wetstone

Barrie K. Barrie K. Wetstone died early Friday morning, (May 28, 2010). Mr. Wetstone was a well respected attorney specializing in taxes, employee benefits and estate planning. He was the author of numerous articles, was a member of the Executive Committee of the Tax Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Estate and Business Planning Council of Hartford, and a long time member of The Group, a national tax group of ERISA and estate planning specialists. Music was a central focus of his life; he was a wonderful pianist and accompanist, and a devoted member of the Simsbury Light Opera Association and the Berkshire Chorale. He leaves his wife, Harriet; his son, Michael and his wife Emily Sachs; his son, Rob and his wife Wendy; his three grandchildren, Jonah, Hannah, and Henry; and his brother, Norden. Funeral services will held TODAY, Sunday, (May 30, 2010) at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the Simsbury Light Opera, the Helen and Harry Grey Cancer Center, and the United Way.
