VENDETTE, Barbara A. (Schlar) Vendette, 67, of South Windsor, died Sunday, July 13, 2008. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Max C. and Madeline Schlar. Barbara worked for the Travelers Insurance Co. before she retired. She leaves her brother, Sherman K. Schlar of West Hartford; her niece, Debra Schlar; and her nephew, Jered Schlar. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 10:30 am at the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, Wolcott Rd., East Granby.
