Avraham (Yehudah) Lapidus

Avraham Yehudah Lapidus, 15, of West Hartford, died Feb. 23, 2006 at the CT Children’s Medical Center. Born Dec. 15, 1990 in Elmira, NY, Avi was the beloved son of Rabbi Jay and Susan, the younger brother of Menachem and Chana, and grandson of Cantor Richard and Ruth Teren of Chicago, IL. He leaves several uncles, aunts and cousins. Services will be held TODAY, 12:30 PM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford, with Rabbi Yitzchok Adler officiating. Interment will follow in Beth David Synagogue Cemetery, Wethersfield. Shiva calls may be made from Sunday through Wednesday at the Lapidus home, 7 Auburn Rd., West Hartford. Shaharit: Sunday at 9:00. Minha-Maariv: Sun-Wed at 5:30. Contributions in Avi’s memory may be made to Beth David Synagogue, the Hebrew High School of New England, the Hebrew Academy or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
