Anne (Friedman) Book

Anne F Book, 98, of Suffield, CT passed away peacefully Sunday (September 27, 2009) after more than three years of kind and devoted care at the Bishops Corner Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in West Hartford. Born on October 25, 1910 in Paterson NJ, daughter of the late Rebecca and Harry Friedman, she lived most of her life in Bloomfield NJ, moving to Suffield in 1996. She was the beloved wife of the late Milton H Book for 54 years. Besides her husband, she was also predeceased by a brother Maurice Friedman and a sister Etta Lawrence. Anne is survived by her two sons, Stephen Book of Seal Beach CA and his wife Ruth, and Michael Book of Suffield CT and his wife Barbara Biewer; grandchildren Robert Book and his wife Mandy of Fairfax VA, Lewis Book of Los Angeles CA, Elizabeth Kratz and her husband Alexander of Bergenfield NJ, Victoria Book of Norman OK, Jacqueline Novikov and her husband Lev of Englewood NJ, Rebecca Brown and her husband Keith of Clifton Park NY, Daniel Book of Naugatuck CT and Nathaniel Book of Suffield; great grandchildren Julia, Kenneth, Jacob and Benjamin Book of Fairfax VA; and four nieces and two nephews. She will be buried Tuesday afternoon with her husband and mother in Clifton NJ. Arrangements entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford.
