Anna (Zeisel) Safalow

Anna (Zeisel) Safalow, 94 years of age, of Simsbury Road, West Hartford, widow of David Safalow, died Monday, July 26, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Bella (Winkelman) Zeisel. Anna devoted her life to her family. She was a member of ORT. She leaves two sons: Arthur Safalow of Mineola, NY, and Harold Safalow of West Hartford; four grandsons: Adam, Mark, Joshua and Bradley; three great grandsons: Matthew, Benjamin, and Clasen; and a sister, Priscilla Oberman of Florida. A graveside funeral service will be held TODAY, TUESDAY, JULY 27, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Tikvoh Chadoshoh Cemetery, 10 Club House Rd., Windsor. A memorial period will be observed at 150 Hyde Road, West Hartford, through Thursday evening. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Tikvoh Chadoshoh, 180 Still Rd., Bloomfield 06002.
