Anna Blumsack, formerly of Lynn, MA, passed away on April 14 at the Hebrew Health Care Facility in West Hartford. She is survived by her loving son, Joel and his wife Judy Blumsack of Sarasota, FL; and her son-in-law, Jerrold Abell of Manchester; her grandchildren, Todd Blumsack and his wife Laurie of Matthews, NC, Lisa Krell and her husband Dan of Brookeville, MD, and Ron Abell and his wife Brenda of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Aidan and Connor Blumsack, Ivy Krell, and Chelsea Abell; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Irving, her daughter, Sheila Abell, and her grandson, Craig Blumsack. She was a life member of congregation Anshe Sephard Synagogue of Lynn, MA. In her younger days she was an active member of the sisterhood in Lynn where she was honored as Jewish Woman of the Year for all her efforts. At that time she was also an active volunteer in the Jewish Old Age Home in Lynn. Most of all she will be remembered by her family as loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
