Adele Meyerhoff

It is with sadness that I announce the death of my wife; Adele Meyerhoff of thirty six years, on June 29, 2026. Adele was born in Hartford on August 1, 1943, the daughter of Julius and Marion Margolis. She graduated from Weaver High School in 1963 and attended CCSU. Adele was employed by the Aetna and Travelers Insurance companies for many years. Adele’s favorite thing was to have dinner with friends at two of her favorite restaurants, Abigails and Twigs (Simsbury Inn). Adele is survived by her daughters Pamela Mondschein (Brad Mondschein) and Jill Tuchmann (Michael Peckham), three grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces, her sister Andrea and many caring friends. The family wishes to thank all the people involved in Adele’s care who made her last days as comfortable as possible.

A graveside service will be held, Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 11 AM at Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, 74 Wolcott Rd, East Granby.
