Aaron Hershkowitz

Aaron Hershkowitz, 87, passed away suddenly on March 5, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances Goldman Hershkowitz; daughter, Lisa Hershkowitz Gould; son-in-law, Bruce Gould of West Simsbury; three grandchildren, Taryn Gould of Brooklyn, NY, Zachary Gould of West Simsbury, and Rachel Gould Peacock and her husband Mark Peacock of Sydney, Australia; and numerous nieces and nephews. For those who knew and loved him, Aaron was a brilliant scholar, a renaissance man with knowledge of math, statistics, philosophy, literature, the humanities and the realities of life. His warm smile, sense of humor and the mischievous twinkle in his eye was with him to the end and will be sorely missed. Calling hours will be at 11 Camille Lane, West Simsbury with a Shiva minion at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9. Donations can be made in his memory to the National Kidney Foundation .
