Rosalie attended Weaver High School and was a graduate of the University of Connecticut in 1945. She was an elementary school teacher in the Hartford Public School system. Rosalie had a deep social consciousness and passion for human rights and fairness and supported a number of related causes. She was a lifelong learner and relished a variety of educational opportunities, including post-graduate courses in history and the arts, politics, and computers. She was blessed to have a wonderful circle of loving friends, with whom she shared many happy memories. Rosalie was an incredible homemaker and loved welcoming family and friends into her home. Rosalie’s greatest joy was being a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her three children: Stephen M. Rosenthal, MD, of San Francisco, CA, Robert B.
