Harvey (Howard) Sack
Harvey (Howard) Joseph Sack, a long-time resident of Bloomfield and West Hartford, passed away at the age of 73 in Ocala, FL on Sunday July 7, 2013. Born in Hartford he was the son of the late Louis and Rose (Feltman) Sack of West Hartford. He was predeceased by his sister, Wilma Cooper in 1970. He is survived by his two children, Michael Sack of Natick, MA and Wilma Oskar, also of MA; his four grandchildren, May-Tal and Elli Ann Oskar and Samuel and Sydney Sack; and his nephew Neil Cooper of Las Vegas. He is also survived by Catharine Gale, his long-time companion. Howard attended Weaver High School and Miami Dade High. After high school he joined the US Army serving in Vietnam and the US Army Reserves. Howard worked for the US Postal Service for many years. Later, he ran his own dry cleaning business in Rocky Hill, CT. Active in Masonry, Howard served as Master of St. John's Lodge #4 in Hartford from 1979-1980.

Funeral services will be graveside on July 9, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Beth David Cemetery in Wethersfield. His family will receive visitors in the Boston area on Monday evening July 8, 2013 at 10 Nouvelle Way Natick MA from 5 to 9 p.m. and then following the funeral service from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 190 Carriage Crossing Lane, Middletown CT.
