Arthur held a wide variety of diverse and interesting jobs during his lifetime including, professional photographer, rancher, oil man, heating engineer, salesman, and Indian Motorcycle racer. However, Arthur would appreciate being remembered most for his three favorite positions: Chief of Police for Alton, NH Police Force, co-owner of a home construction business, and his beloved job as the family Patriarch.
