Jack Rosenthal of Duffield Dr., West Hartford, son of the late Max and Marion Rosenthal, passed on to his eternal rest on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at his home. He is survived by his brother Alvin of Geneva, IL and many nieces and nephews throughout the country, including a very special great niece, Amy Gothers, her husband Matt, and their children Jake and Ryan who became the light of his life. He was predeceased by his brothers Joseph, Ben, Samuel and Edward Rosenthal, and his sister Florence Labinger. Special thanks goes to his care giver and special friend Naomi Mensah for making his life comfortable during his last years. Funeral services will be held TODAY, Friday, October 17, 2008 at 1:30 PM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi Stephen Fuchs officiating. Interment will follow in the Beth Israel Cemetery, Avon. A memorial period will be observed at the home of his nephew and his wife, Stanley & Andrea Labinger, 54 Belknap Road, West Hartford, Friday following the funeral, Saturday evening, and Sunday 1-5 PM.
