Milton R. Feldman
Milton R. Feldman, 82, Rocky Hill, formerly of West Hartford and Delray Beach, FL, died on Sunday, February 25, 2007. Son of the late Edward and Sallie (Cohen)Feldman, and his late twin brother Lester of New Britain, CT. Milton was born in New Britain, graduated from New Britain High School and attended University of Connecticut until he proudly served in the United States Navy for three and one-half years. Milton was the owner of the family business, Boston Clothing Store, in New Britain from 1945-1968. He owned Milts Army & Navy in Bloomfield, CT, in1970 until his retirement some 18 years later. Milton is survived by his wife Joan Turits Feldman and their three daughters, all of whom were the loves of his life: Sharon Julie and her husband Blake Rowe of Ossining, NY; Ellen Marcia and her husband George Ornato of Middletown, CT; and, Heidi Carol and her husband Curtis Friedman, of Tisbury, MA. Four grandchildren, Julian Arthur and Eva Elizabeth Rowe, and Carolyn Rae and Allison Lee Ornato were cherished by Milton. He leaves his loving and attentive cousins Maxine Cohn and her husband, Solon of Newington, CT, and Jane Lee and Herbert Sackett of Providence, RI. He is also survived by Miles Weinberg - his buddy since birth  and his wife Doris of Newington, CT. Miltons death leaves his devoted sister-in-law Beatrice Turits, of Forest Hills, NY, and his brother-in-law, Allan Turits of Poughkeepsie, NY, his nephews  "his boys" - Paul and Gary Turits, and Mark and Andy Turits, with a void that can never be filled. Milton leaves many close and loving friends  too many to mention. Over his years, Milton was former member of Temple BNai Israel, New Britain and Tikvoh Chadoshah of Bloomfield, CT. He was active in many fraternal organizations including The Free Masons, the Level Lodge, and The Improved Order of Red Men. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford, with interment in Beth Alom Cemetary, New Britain, CT. Shiva will be observed the home of Ellen and George Ornato, 270 Higby Road, Middletown, CT.
