Lillian P. Reicher
Lillian P. Reicher, 96, of Chamberlain St., New Britain, wife of Judge Max H. Reicher for 73 years , died Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at home. Born in Monroe, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Bessie Puzinsky. She was a member of Temple Bnai Israel, New Britain; past president of its Sisterhood; member of Farmington Country Club; past president of the Auxiliary of the New Britain Bar Association; former Chairperson of the New Britain Housing Authority; past member of the Womens Club of New Britain; a former member of Tumble Brook Country Club, Bloomfield; and a past member of the New Britain Chapter of Hadassah. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Attorney Robert J. Reicher of West Hartford, and a daughter H. Merle Langs Greenberg of Rockford, IL; three grandchildren: William S. Langs , Lawrence J. Langs and his wife Anna, and Andrea Bear and her husband Dr. Brian Bear; and five great grandchildren: Brad Langs, Maxim Langs, and Benjamin, Lauren and Emily Bear. Funeral services will held on Sunday, December 10, 2006 at 10:00 AM in Temple Bnai Israel, 265 West Main St., New Britain, with Rabbi Henry Okolica and Rabbi Marshal Press officiating. Interment will follow in the Beth Alom Cemetery, New Britain. A memorial period will be observed at her home, 26 Chamberlain St, New Britain on Monday from 2-5 pm and 6-8 pm.
