Norma Pessin Teller
TELLER, Norma (Pessin) Teller, 90, of West Hartford died Friday, November 24, 2006. She was the widow of Louis Teller. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late David and Fannie (Silverman) Pessin and step-daughter of the late Celia (Goldberg) Pessin. She was a member of the Emanuel Synagogue of West Hartford. She was a long time member of the Mark Twain Masquers and a supporter of and contributor to many philanthropic organizations. She leaves a son, David Teller of Los Angeles, CA; her aunt, Louise Zachs of West Hartford; and a close friend, Harry Lichtenbaum. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Louis Pessin. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Sunday, November 26 at 12:00 Noon at the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, 1361 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Jewish Community Foundation, 333 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford 06117 or to the Emanuel Synagogue.
