Message: Ed was the fun uncle. The rebel. The free spirit. The one who didn't subscribe to niceties or the expected code of conduct. A hero and anti-hero in one. I like to think I've stolen some of those great qualities from him over the years. He's one of the first people I ever looked up to and that never changed. Thanks for it all, Uncle Ed. Brian

Message: Linda and family: I just heard from my brother Michael about Ed's passing. I can't tell you how sad I feel. Ed was more than a cousin to me. Having grown up just down the street from us and a year younger than me, Ed was more like a brother than a cousin. We all have wonderful childhood memories of "Eddie." We particularly appreciated how kind he was to my mother throughout her life. I'm sorry we cannot be at the funeral today but please know my thoughts are with you all. Neal
