Message: I was an Infectious Disease Pharmacy Fellow at Hartford Hospital from 1982-84 under Charlie's mentorship. His teaching and leadership made all the difference for me and my career. I'm so grateful to have come up to see him in past 2 years and express my sincere gratitude for what he meant to me. I am so proud of the program that he established and the difference it made on so many lives. God Bless Charlie My sincere condolences to the entire Nightingale family Michael Toscani, Pharm.D.

Message: I will always have fond memories and the good times we shared for many years. Lorie, Charlie, Joe and myself with our children. We spent good times on weekends , Charlie would also have interesting and educational places and things for us to share. May he rest in peace. You have left quite legacy for us to remember.

Message: During my fellowship at Hartford Hospital from 1998 - 2000, Charlie served as a mentor and provided much needed guidance. He liked to frame issues from the "Big Picture" point of view. Honesty and ethics were always part of his discussions. He made a big impact on the careers of so many people in pharmacy. He will be missed! With deepest sympathies. Ed Grant
