Message: I met Flo when I became a teacher and came to her school many years ago. She was a wonderful teacher and mentor to me. In the years that followed, we became close friends. My children knew that "Auntie Flo"s house was the place to walk to after school before they went to Hebrew School because they would be welcomed and treated to the best snacks ever! Throughout the years, Flo remained a wonderful friend to me and she will be dearly missed.

Message: We all started out together in the inaugural year of the Beth El Associate Membership, 1961-62. And most of us stayed at Beth El, and our children knew each other. This is a poignant time with happy memories of the early years, and now this sad time. My heart goes out to you Phil and to your lovely family. (Bob and I got to meet Aron at your home last Spring). My last memory of Florence was at Rosh Hashonah, when Florence greeted me with that smile of hers, and we hugged. I send hugs and love to all of you. Mindy Seltzer
