Message: Bernie was a wonderful person, and a very good friend and neighbor in Lyme. We miss him very much, but his kind and cheerful presence will live on always here - especially canoeing past his house on the Eight Mile river and imagining him sitting happily on the dock of an evening. Thank you so much for letting me know, Debbie, I wish I had been able to attend the Service today and am sending you and all his family warmest wishes.

Message: Dear Pam and Debbie - So sorry to hear about your dad's passing. I have many great memories of times spent at your childhood home where your parents were always so kind and easy to be around. It was apparent to me even as a young person how proud they were of you both and how much they loved their girls. May your dad's long and well lived life continue to be a blessing to you both.

Message: Dear Friends, Our sincerest condolences to you all on Bernie's passing. Have known him for many years, as well as his brother Mandell, as we shared a mutual aunt, Lillian Colton Donn. She was married to my father's kid brother, Harry. Bernie was a pleasant, gentle man, whom we will always remember fondly. He was a regular attendee at the Jewish War Veterans Department Conventions, and we'll miss him. He was a member of JWV Post 51. May he rest in peace.
