Message: Dear Mom, I cannot even tell you how much you mean to me. You have always been there for me from the day I was born. You are an inspiration and my hero. I miss you so much. Every night when I look up at the stars I will think of you. People can look high and low and go the end of the Earth, but they will never find a person as selfless, as generous, and as loving as you. Thank you for giving me life and for loving me unconditionally. You just call out my name And you know wherever I am I’ll come running to see you again Winter, spring, summer or fall All you’ve got to do is call And I’ll be there You’ve got a friend -James Taylor

Message: My dearest Jodi, I don't have the words to express my sorrow and my happiness to have been your close friend. We shared everything together always on the phone. You were walking Oliver while calling me first thing in the morning. You were the most wonderful, loving mother I have ever known.Your advice always helped me through difficult times. We laughed and enjoyed the craziness of many subjects. I remember you from the beginning when I taught Katie, Samantha, Jonathan and Claire. Jonathan, Katie, Samantha and Claire, I know you know this but I still have to tell you again, even after everyone else has said it - Your special, special Mom was SO, SO proud of all of you and loved you so much. That is what she continuously said. Know that she will still be watching over you and loving you forever.I love her and I love all of you, my wonderful students.

Message: Mom, When I didn't want to keep skiing, you made me. When I didn't want to keep running cross country, you made me. When I wasn't sure about moving out to Utah for my first job, you made me go. When I wanted to leave Utah several months after starting my job, you encouraged me to stay one year. Thank you for always pushing me to do the things I didn't want to do, that eventually turned into the things I love. Thank you for your support in my reporting career. Your spirit, tenacity, diligence and affability will always be with me and I look forward to sharing a piece of you with others. Love, Katie

Message: When the kids were at SSDS, we would get together with the girls, and one day Jodi suggested in her so perky style, we go to the Big E, with Claire and Jonathan, just really babies, and of course, Katie and Becky. We had so much fun-such a great time. Still remember many of those days as Jodi was one of the most amazing women we had the grace of knowing. Her shine without doubt will remain forever more in all our hearts. We remember how she just loved people and made everyone feel good, and would do about anything to be helpful, with grace and enthusiasm. We know how much she loved Ron, and her very beautiful and precious children, but she also enjoyed and appreciated others, and could make anyone feel ten feet tall, and we all knew it was genuine. It's no wonder all the kids were truly crazy about her. And adults. We have pondered her loss over and over, and our hearts are all broken. We will remember always Jodi's smile, bright eyes and her luster of life. RIP Jodi <3

Message: Jodi, I first met you in the swimming pool at the Jewish Community Center over ten years ago. Our group of 5:30 am swimmers would push each other through the morning workouts. I will never forget the day you convinced me to compete in a Team Triathlon. Never having done this before I was skeptical of my abilities. Upon completing the race, my teammates and I received a 1st place victory. Your inspirational spirit and ability to search out the best in others will continue to amaze me. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and the determination to excel. You have now crossed the finish line and completed the race. I am blessed to have known you and will treasure your memory. Good-bye my friend, Good-bye…… Gil

Message: Jodi was a comforting person to have at camp when you send your little ones away for the summer. Jacob was a frequent visitor and spent time in the infirmary during color war breakout with pneumonia. Jodi reassured both he and I that everything would be ok and that he would be back out with his friends in no time. Even as Jacob got older and would go for his daily medication, Jodi was always a friendly face for him there. She will be missed.
