Message: I was sad to learn of Ed's passing. I knew Ed these last few years thtr the WPO finantial forum. Ed was such a plesant, positive optomistic person. Ed came to discuss with me his pancreatic cancer situation due to my involvement with Israel, cancer research and experimental drug testing. I was struct by his positive , through, resilent and character approach, leaving no stone unturned, yet pleasant and thoughtful way he handled everything. He was a model of how to handle difficult situations. We will miss him. Ed Satell

Message: My dad was the most wonderful and kind hearted man I have ever known. He was an amazing business man and friend but most of all the most amazing father in the world. I was blessed to have been his daughter and to be with him, holding him in his final moments. There are so many things I will miss about my dad. I will miss watching the patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics games with him, I will miss his smile and the light in his eyes when I walked into a room, I will miss talking to him about politics and global warming, and all the little inside jokes he and I had that nobody understands. I will miss how much he believed in me. Most of all I will miss him and being able to hug him and tell him I love him everyday. God blessed me when he gave me Edward Rosenfield as a father

Message: Edward Rosenfield will be remembered by me as an example of a true, noble and remarkable man. I feel truly blessed by simply knowing him, and honoring his memory. Mr Rosenfield loved deeply, gave generously, lived purposefully, and walked humbly. His example as a friend, father, husband and mentor inspires me to strive to become the best I can offer those I love, as he did. Edward's sense of humor, perfect timing and great smile always soothed and calmed even the most tense moments and difficult times. His strength, confidence and perseverance was a gift he shared even through the eleventh hour. I am grateful to have known you, to learn to celebrate this short time and cherish even the small victories...Thanks Eddie...Rest Peacefully Mr. Rosenfield.

Message: Letter to Ed..we hadn't seen each other in over 40 years, but you were a major part of my life and don't even know it. Back in 1999 when I met your wonderful sister whom I've remained friends with, you brought me into your social circle, and my life changed. It was a wild, fun ride which I still share with people today. The woman who was to become your wife, was first my roommate, and I could tell that once you met, this was going to be magical. I was truly sorry to hear that you were ill and ultimately, passed, I know how much you will be missed by all. I thank you for being a part of my young life and making it special. Andrea, there are no words now, but the memories will speak forever.
