Message: Ken was my dearest friend. We met at a photography workshop in Florida in 1990, and enjoyed many photo junkets together since. Ken's sense of humor was priceless, and he was always able to best me with his quick-witted comebacks. I also admired his clarity of observation, both visually in his photographs and orally regarding human behavior. His was a large presence in my life, and I will greatly miss him.

Message: Jean has been a dear friend for years. Getting to know Ken was a joy... Oh, how he loved to tease. Thinking of him brings a smile to my face. He gave so much & was always there for Jean. His photography suburb. Ken had a way of drawing an observer into his work. He and Jean had such a special bond when it came to his photography & her art. He will be missed by those who knew him....Rest in peace Ken. Affectiontely, Rosemarie

Message: My dad, Burton Cohen, was one of Ken's dear friends. In fact, I cannot remember a time when Ken and Jean were not a part of my life. When I was young I was scared of Ken as he was always complaining that I was taking his food (teasingly)! My condolences and love go out to Jean and family on your loss. May he and Burt be together once again taking photos and swapping jokes. Love, Abby
