Message: Richie and I grew up together in Hartford, attending the same public schools culminating in our graduating from Weaver High School fifty-nine years ago. I remember his interest in his cars and was so proud of the way he maintained them. He lived a good life and was blessed with a wonderful family, including those great grandchildren. Every time I pass a Shell station I will think of him! How fortunate he was to have his sister and brother-in-law close by as well. We will miss him at our sixtieth high school reunion especially. His memory is indeed For a Blessing. My deepest sympathy to all of his family.. We will miss him at our Sixtieth Weaver Reunion in

His enthusiasm for people and his warmth were his signature. Surely, you were the beneficiaries of that love. Donald joins me in sending condolences to you all. Linda Fisher Silpe

Message: Dear Sackter family - I'm so sorry for your loss. As I watched him packing the house to leave FL, he doted on Fran, referring to her as his "Princess". He loved her so much. Through the years Dick has made an impact on so many people, family and friends. He was there for me when I needed help in FL., never a hesitation. I had the fortune of sharing conversations with him in recent years. Dick was so proud of his family! It was beautiful to hear him singing the praises, with tears in his eyes, of Amy and Mark and how they raised such polite, hardworking and incredibly smart boys. Dick will be missed by many here in south FL. Baruch Dayan Ha'Emet
