Message: My mother, Dorothy Wendrow, loved her brother's son, Ronnie, and his wife, Rose, very much. She was so happy that Rose found happiness again after Ronnie's untimely death. My mother spoke of Rose often, and was very proud of what she accomplished. I know that my mother and father, Dorothy and Al Wendrow, would have wanted me to express their deepest sympathy to Rose's family, if they were alive today. As their daughter, I want to express mine as well. Your mother was a lovely person, and, although I was young when I saw her, I thought she was very special. My sympathies to her whole family, as well as to their great aunt Sandy and uncle Jerry, Ronnie's sister and brother in law. May her memory be a blessing, and may she rest in peace.

Message: Edward, Rebecca and Sarah, Rose was an important part of my life here in Connecticut, and she left an indelible mark. I am so sorry that she had to suffer for such a long time. I also regret that I will not be able to attend her services, for I am leaving tomorrow with my daughter-in-law and granddaughter from Cape Cod for Philadelphia where my granddaughter is participating in a competitive basketball tournament. My reservations were made a long time ago. However, my thoughts will be with her and you. I will pay my respects at the gravesite after my return home. Rose and I met at CCSA in a graduate law class. We studied together and became good friends. We shared a lot and enjoyed going to antique shows and tag sales, as well as the theatre and traveling. We had a wonderful trip to China in 1999. We even had fun when I helped her hang art work in various offices. We participated in family gatherings, and I do remember your weddings and the memorable Seder dinners at your home. I have a small painting that she did for me which will always hang in my home. With love and sympathy, Lorraine
