Message: At some point in the early 1960's my brother told me that he ran into Connie on a street in Boston and said, "Well, if it isn't Connie Lobenthal?" To which she replied, "It isn't! It's Connie Mindell." That's how I first heard of Heb a half century ago. I knew he was a WWII vet, but whenever I was with him it was always hard to believe. I know the last few years have been an arduous time for both Heb and Connie. May he now have peace.

Message: Connie, I first met your dear husband a number of years ago behind the counter of Philip David Jewelers. I didn't realize he was your husband at first. He described the person he was buying the gift for as someone with incredible style, elegance and taste. Once I found out it was for YOU, I had to concur. It looks like your excellent taste extended to your choice in a partner as well. What a blessing to have shared your lives for 50 years! Love and big hugs to you, Gwen
