Message: Two distinct memories come to mind when I think of Dr. Byer. First is of him sitting at the kitchen table of his cottage at Giant's Neck, appropriately attired in "summer casual wear", reading the paper while savoring his coffee; his beloved Oliver at his feet. The second was when he took time out of his very busy clinic time to meet with a young PT(me) starting up her practice and seeking much needed guidance (which he generously and patiently offered). Blessings to all who loved him.
