Message: I did not know Sam well, but his Mother and my Mother Celia (Miller) Lechowetsky were first cousins. My Grandmother Ida (Levin) Miller and Rose's Father Israel were brother and sister.

Message: Judge Freed was one of the first judges I appeared before as a young lawyer. He was patient, professional and insisted upon fair play. Over the years I spoke with often concerning legal and non legal matters. I admired him as a sensible and kind person. My condolences to Ken and his family.
