Message: We will remember Dennis in many ways, from our blueberry pancake breakfasts at the beach house to enjoying fine dining experiences and shows at Infinity Hall. We can not thank him enough him for all the kindness he showed us during our time of hardship. He was a generous and kind, we will keep him in our hearts forever.

Message: Dennis was a wonderful friend and mentor to so many young lawyers, (myself included), back in the 70's and 80's,there are probably hundreds who knew and appreciated his knowledge and wisdom. He was a great friend, and one of the most caring and truly concerned individuals practicing law in this state. His annual Superbowl parties were legend! It is sad to hear of his leaving, but I know he's got a front row seat up in heaven.

Message: We have so many happy memories of Dennis. So many of them involved food or sports and sometimes both! We appreciated his loyalty to his friends and admired his generosity to strangers. He had a big heart and a big personality and sadly, we will feel a big void. It was an honor to have known him. Marty and Becky Webber

Message: I've worked for Dennis for almost 15 years and I could probably write a book with all of the great memories. In times such as these, I tend to turn to writing as a way of expressing my feelings and to help me through the grieving process so I wrote a little something in memory of Dennis that I would like to share as I feel it paints a pretty good picture of how he lived his life and how we should all live our lives: IN LIFE- (In Memory of Dennis G. Hersh) In life we walk a fine line between accepting our own mortality and seeking the key to eternal life. In life we walk along leaving footprints behind in hopes that we will make an imprint of memories upon the hearts of those we've met along the way. In life we never know when the footsteps we leave behind will be the final footsteps of our life so take each step today as though it may be your last and make every step count...be happy for the life you have, leave behind your anger and regrets, and say "I Love You" as often as you can. Your life is a book with a beginning and an end, the in between is what you make of it! Louanne Romaneck 4-30-15 Dennis's book of life is a novel of great things for sure. Rest in Peace Dennis and prayers to all of his family.
