Message: I met Yumie through our mutual efforts to pass legislation in Connecticut to ensure that those with autism had access to meaningful health insurance coverage. Her smile, her warmth, her commitment, the pure love she exuded .. I just can't express in words what a light she was. Her efforts made a huge difference in helping legislators understand what autism really is, opening their hearts to do the right thing and pass Connecticut's autism insurance law. This is only one small way that she made a difference. The light that she was -- it still is, and always, always will be. Prayers for peace and strength for her family and all those who love her.
