Message: I met Robert at McLean Game Refuge, I saw him there often and I missed seeing him there recently. When I first saw him he didn't say much but eventually he recognized we were both regulars and he opened up about his move to Connecticut and his past on Madison Avenue. He was proud of his dentist sons and clearly loved his family. I'll miss seeing him at McLean.

Message: Dear Rick, Ron & the entire Kirschbaum family, The Friedman family wishes our condolences and sympathy on the great loss of our beloved great cousin Bob. We are comforted in the fact that he has joined in the eternal life all the great Kirschbaums that have passed before him. Terry, Tweedy, Hy, Lil, Saul, Joe, Pearl and Alice. I remember many wonderful family moments as a young boy in the Bronx, Chappaqua and my family home in Spring Valley. In the many years that followed the passing of my parents Ross and Jill I remained in close contact with Bob as he enabled me to keep this family link to this cherished past. I often kept Bob in touch with our lives as well as looked to him for Love, guidance and support. I often reminded him that he was my senior leader of the family and for that I am so grateful. I was so pleased that we were able to visit in Granby in 2012. It meant so much to me to have Silvana and our son Samuel meet you guys and Bob to maintain this family link. Sammy was pretty impressed to see Bob drive away at 9:00 PM dowh the winding Kirschbaum Avenue that departs your home. I have to admit so was I. Love, Daniel, Silvana & Sammy In loving memory Robert S. Kirschbaum 2/10/15

Message: Dear Rick and Ron and families, So sad to learn of Cousin Bob's passing recently. As most of our family is gone now it is the memories that keeps them alive in our hearts. Although we haven't seen each other in quite a long time, I remember all too well visiting you in Chappaqua, playing outside on your tree swing and enjoying each other's stories. Bob was my Dad's closet cousin and friend and it is through their relationship that we all had such a wonderful life together. I too remember climbing up the staircase at Hy and Lil's home in the Bronx and spending holidays together. Bob as well as my Dad always referred to me as Susie Q and I can still hear him say that to me. Both he and Terry were so gracious to my children yet they never really had the opportunity to know them that well. We all gathered at my home in Spring Valley for holidays and shared many many wonderful times together. I still have some wonderful photos of us playing outside at your home in Chappaqua, of family gatherings with Alice, Joe, Pearl, and even one of me wearing Ron's overalls as I probably spilled something all over myself! Rest assured, their is comfort in knowing that the family passed is enjoying times together now! With much love, Susan and family
