Message: Dear Bonnie, Howard and Joan, I played Canasta with your Mom for years and years, until I moved to Florida. It happens we were more than friends, but cousins as well. Your Dad and my Dad (Milton Golden) were cousins and my Dad tells wonderful stories about yours! Your Mom was a beautiful lady, and she will be missed by all who were graced to know her. I am glad she will be back with her Mosie! May all of your best memories of times shared bring you comfort through this very sad time. Love, Cousins Marilyn and Alan Byer and (my Dad) Milton Golden

Message: My father in law is Dan Gikner. He became friendly with Gloria a few years ago. He recently celebrated his 85th birthday and Gloria joined us for a wonderful dinner at the Saybrook Fish House. Gloria then had my wife and I and younger daughter over to the pool at Avon Old Farms over Labor Day Weekend. She was a very gracious host and we had a great day with her. She had a beautiful smile. Message: To my dear friend Bonnie, I didn't know your mom at all but enjoyed reading her guestbook entries. It seems as though she lived a lively life amongst family and friends; playing cards and enjoying her social time. Despite not knowing your mom, I do know that she raised a wonderful daughter and an amazing mother to her granddaughter Marisa. Her beauty and love of life shines in the both of you. I am so sorry for your loss and hope happy memories will live within you and Marisa for years to come. Sincerely, your friend Cheryl and Oliver Smith. Our prayers are with you at this time.
