Message: David, Our friendship with you and Sandy began as next-door neighbors in Bloomfield. Sandy and I shared many years in the Aetna pensions department, and stayed in touch even when we moved to Salt Lake City. Our sons have been close friends practically since birth! We sat together at Fern Street pool with the kids, and later sat together on the Aetna front steps eating our bags of burnt peanuts, talking our way through simchas and challenges. She has faced this latest challenge with great resolve and courage, and with the loving support of her family, to whom we send our deepest sympathy. Shayna and Mal

Message: When I returned to CT three years ago, Sandy and my USJ classmates welcomed me into their occasional luncheons. What a warm, gracious welcome back to my native State. I larned first-hand about Sandy's devotion to her family. She regaled us with stories about her grandchildren and the joy she took in being close to them and enjoying their times together. I will miss her presence and her friendship. My deepest condolences go out to Dave and the rest of her family.

Message: Dear Dave, I was devastated to learn of the loss of Sandy - I have known you both since middle school, and I literally feel that we grew up together. She was a very lovely lady, and always warm and loving. Truly, I am feeling very sad about her loss and I know how difficult this must be for you and your children. When Howard passed away 7 1/2 years ago, my heart broke. You will mend, as I have, but I know you will always carry the loss in your heart. May your family and friends be a source of solace for you.
