Message: Not every day working with Frank was without conflict. We sometimes didn't agree but he always made sure that I felt my side of the disagreement was listened to and respected. He could be an oasis of calm in a sometimes chaotic and pressured environment, keeping his head above it all with a manner sometimes interpreted as aloofness. The world has lost someone of integrity and compassion and is poorer with the loss. My deepest sympathies to Heidi and the rest of his family.

Message: Heidi, I worked with Frank at DDS and cannot begin to tell you how sad I was when I heard of his passing. Frank was indeed a private person and I greatly respected that part of his personality. However, I rememeber him sharing stories about waking up and making coffee for you; and of course, stories about the dog. We all just assumed he was off having a great time traveling and riding his bike. He was truely a person that walk in grace and I will remember him fondly. Stay strong for him. Sincerely, Davette Wright

Message: I am so saddened to hear of Frank's passing, but so thankful to have been fortunate enough to have had him as a supervisor at work for my fist several years with the State. He was an excellent supervisor, and an all around good human being. I really enjoyed working with him. He always provided me with good guidance, insight, and was willing to say hard things in a manner that was easy to hear. I used to tell him he was not allowed to retire, because I enjoyed seeing him at work every day! Of course, I am so glad he did retire and that he got to spend precious time with his family and loved ones.

Message: I was stunned to hear of Frank's passing. He was a charming man with a quiet sense of humor and a beautiful smile. I loved hearing of Heidi and Frank's travels, especially how anywhere they went in the world, Frank would always stop in first at a church. I also will always be able to picture him taking Neptune out for a walk, and having to carry her back. I will also be ever grateful to Heidi and Frank for introducing me to Don. I am so sorry for your loss, Heidi. Please accept my sincerest sympathy.

Message: Oh, Heidi, we are so sorry and sad. Frank was a quiet, dryly funny man who'd obviously found the love of his life in you. We so much enjoyed knowing him. I will never forget his bringing home all the junk food for you and me on that awful day. That was inspirational and so like him! We love you.

Message: Heidi and family: May God comfort you during your loss! Frank was a great friend and supervisor. It was under his leadership that I was promoted to supervisor. I traveled the world along with you and Frank through the stories and photos he so generously shared. He spoke fondly of his niece and nephew. We often discussed the CT shoreline where his sister's family also resides. I will cherish the laughs we shared. He will be greatly missed!

Message: Dear Heidi and Frank’s Family: I want to extend my deepest condolences regarding Frank’s passing. I worked with Frank at the Connecticut DDS where he was my supervisor, mentor and friend. He was always very helpful, knowledgeable and through his encouragement, pushed me to keep challenging myself which opened to door furthering my career. I will never forget catching up with him on one the many travel adventures that he and Heidi went on. The pictures and stories he brought back from them really made you feel like you were there. Although Frank will no longer physically be here with us, his memory and the impression that he left with many of us will never fade. My thoughts and prayers go out to Heidi and Frank’s Family.
