Message: To all of Peter's family, I first met him when I was only 6 years old as he used to come to our house on Bretton Rd. to cut my fathers hair and my 2 older brothers and mine. I was told he used to pull me out from under the bed to cut my hair. After we moved to Lyman Rd. he came to the house and did 5 hair cuts as my mother didn't drive and my father could not get us to the shop. He was my barber for most of my life. He was a wonderful man and I am sure he will be missed by all who knew him. He had a wonderful long life and you all must have great memories of him that you can think of for the rest of your lives. When I think of Peter the barber I always have a smile on my face. May he rest in peace. You have our deepest sympathy!!

Message: Cousin Peter was always the ultimate host! The family would gather in his home and celebrate many holidays. We remember driving to W Hartford for break the fast and having him send us home with his homemade pickles! When young we would stop by the shop for a haircut. His smile and laughter and funny stories will be remembered as well as his love of Family. We will miss your spirit. Love, Stacy, David and Maddie

Message: My sympathy to the Korduner family. I fondly remember the barber shop on Albany Avenue. It was always on honor when Peter would let my brother or I sweep the hair from the floor. More than a barber he was a mensch. Be comforted in the years you all had together and in the memory of the respect the community has for him.
