Message: Having been a long time friend of her beloved son Marc Frankel, I got the privilege of meeting Marilyn on a couple of brief occasions where I unfortunately only spent a little time with her. I can tell you that as soon as I met her I could tell her heart was filled with love and compassion for others. She had an amazing presence that was uplifting and inspiring all around. Her positive attitude no matter what the circumstances and drive for life is something we can all strive for. With that said I know she is up in heaven right now where she can continue her legacy of amazing spirit. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and the entire family, especially her son Marc as in knowing him closely I know he loved her dearly and has always been inspired by her, and still will be.

Message: I'm in Florida or I would never have missed the funeral. The reference to her smile made me cry for the last half hour. She was beautiful inside and out! Reflecting back to our childhood when Max and Molly and Rita and Johnny were always together and our families had such fun together. Then we were reunited when we moved to West Hartford when Patrick and Marc played baseball together. I always loved Mimi and am so saddened to learn she suffered from ovarian cancer. To Marc, Debbie , Jackie and Helayne my sincerest sympathy. I'm sure they lost the mold with Mimi gone. Diane Hennessey DePasquale
