Message: Dear Esta, Florence, Susan, and Alan: On behalf of the entire Rosenberg Family and all of your friends at Temple Beth Israel, I extend our deepest sympathy in the passing of your beloved mother. So many fond memories of our families growing up in Danielson. I have learned so much the past few years about the leaders of Temple Beth Israel. Your mom played such an important role leading the Sisterhood. I remember as a child how loved both your mom and dad were at the Temple. They will never be forgotten. Please know that we are thinking of you at this time. In Friendship - Joel Rosenberg

Message: I have such wonderful memories of Doris when I lived in Danielson. She was so acrive in Temple Beth Israel. We would have wonderful visits at my home when she came in from Putnam (10 miles away) with her 4 children to go to Hebrew School in Danielson. Doris would be so thrilled to know that the Temple is already listed in the CT Register of Historical Places and today (1/17 we were nominated for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. The adult children of the founders are PRESERVING the temple and have formed the Temple Beth Israel Preservation Society. Doris worked SO HARD for the Temple and we are all SO GRATEFUL for all of Doris's efforts! Elsie Blumenthal Fetterman
