Message: Laney, Betsy, Zack & Josh: I am still in shock.Alex and I just had coffee together and as always, shared a lot of laughs. He was a sweetheart of a guy with many friends, especially from the New Britain Y where he was a regular. I will remember the fun times that I shared with Alex at Temple B'Nai Israel Hebrew School and playing basketball in the Church League at the New Britain Y. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends.

Message: Very saddened to hear the news of the passing of Alex, better known to me as Zach's Dad. The times I remember him he was always in a good mood and very reserved, yet I knew he had an outgoing side. I would see him all the time walking in Bishop's Corner and think "There goes Zach's Dad!" I could tell that he carried himself very well and was happy, especially with his family. I'm Glad I was able to attend the morning service and to see my friend, Zach.

He was a person of genuine integrity and high values who cared about people. We will miss him and exchanging emails about the state of the world (and country) of which he shared quite emphatically.
