Message: Rick and Elliot, Our families (sheketoff/ Gersten and Widem/Waxman) go back so many generations. Our moms grew up with each other in Hartford. I fondly recall seeing your mom on my many trips to West Hartford to take care of my mom. The two would rekindle their friendship as if no time had passed. So sorry to here of your loss. What a special lady, she will be missed. Fondly, Susan Widem

Message: I am so very sorry to hear of Zelda's passing. Zelda was a wonderful lady, so full of life and laughter, I will miss her greatly. Zelda was always mindful of how precious our time is on earth. Although I spent a great deal of time with Zelda and Charlie in the 80's and 90's, I did not see her much in her later years. But whenever I did, she was full of compliments and warm wishes. Zelda was one of a kind, and I am so very sorry for your loss.
