Message: "Mrs.Goldenberg".."Gloria"..as time went along. I have known this very wonderful lady since I began in the world of retail in 1988..She soon became more than a client...a true friend in every sense of the word...we shared stories and pictures of families as they grew. She was as interested in my children as I was interested in her families and all that she accomplished. I am very saddenend to have her leave this world..even though I know that this "fighter" is in a better place. My love and deepest heartfelt sympathies to all of you. I am honored to have become part of her "world". With love, Mary Dunn Stackpole Moore Tryon/ Tuesday's

Message: Gloria was one of the first people who welcomed me when I went to work for Rabbi Rosen 13 years ago. She told me if I needed anything at all or had any questions or needed a volunteer--she'd be happy to be of help. Through the years I became very fond of her and enjoyed speaking with her and listening to her sing in the choir. She had a lovely voice. Whenever we saw each other, we warmly embraced--she was a friend! May you all find comfort in the happy times and memories you have of her. Roberta Buland

Message: To The Family of Gloria Goldenberg It was with sadness that we read of Gloria's passing in today's Hartford Courant. Her accomplishments were many in addition to being a very loyal and active supporter of Hall High School. She was very proud of what her children achieved there. She leaves an impressive legacy for her family and friends to emulate. To live in hearts one leaves behind is not to die. Gloria will live on in the hearts of her family and many friends. We are thinking of you at this time of your great loss. With most sincere sympathy, Gladys and Bob Dunn Former Principal of William H.Hall High School

Message: I have been a memeber of Beth El since 1960 when I moved to West Hartford as a young child - Gloria was there. She has seemed such an integral part of the synagogue all these many years. It was she who was responsible for bringing me into Sisterhood. Who could say no to her? Always an inspiration, she was a warm, caring, always elegant, always kind woman whom I admired greatly and loved dearly - she will be greatly missed. May her memory be for a blessing.

She was instrumental in making me feel welcome to the Beth El Sisterhood when we moved to West Hartford 20 years ago. She gave me a job immediately, that was her way! May your memories bring you comfort. Marie Levine
