Message: I was privileged to work side by side with Irv for several years in the West Haven purchasing department. I missed him when he went into retirement. I respected him for his work ethic, the love he expressed daily for his family and the stories he told me daily. I knew all about the produce business he worked with his father in the early years and all the events he experienced in WW2. He was a true gentleman and I am proud to call him my friend.

Message: I worked with Irv for 14 years at the VA Medical Center in both Newington and West Haven. Not only did we work together but I had the pleasure of having lunch with Irv every single work day. I can honestly say that Irv was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Irv taught me a great deal about Government purchasing. As a matter of fact Irv urged me to go into Government contracting. You might say that Irv changed my life for which I am eternally grateful. I do not want to sound mushy but I truly loved Irv Rosenberg. He was the embodiment of the old fashioned work ethic in which he led by example. Rest in peace Irv, Your friend always, Bruce
