Message: Dick and Lila, I just found out about your Mother and I am terribly sorry that I cannot get to Manchester in time for the funeral. I am sending Jessica so that in some way I have a presence for Lillian and for you. She sounded so good New Year's Eve and now I feel bad that I didn't get to see her in person. What a wonderful woman. I have so many fond memories of her as we grew up, Dick; and as I have always loved you I have always loved your Mother. Such elegance; such grace; and so nice. She lived a long life and had so much nachas from you and your family. May she be at rest with G-d. She will be a bright star in the heavens forever, and as I still talk to my mother today, I know you will always be able to talk to her. Cherie and I, and my kids, send our sincerest condolences to the entire Yules clan. Shalom. Alan
