Message: I apologize for the lateness of my entry. I was saddened to hear of Blanche's passing. I am a volunteer medical escort with the town of W. Hartford and drove Blanche for several years to appointments. I enjoyed her very stylish appearance, and quickly learned that I needed to dress up a bit for Blanche. The first time I drove her, she told me I needed to wear more makeup. I was taken aback at first, but loved her boldness in telling me. I later understood where she was coming from as a former makeup salesperson. I enjoyed hearing her talk about her dancing, as I am also a dancer. May the Lord rest her soul. Thanks for the fun, Blanche.

Message: I will always remember Blanche when she worked at Lord&Taylor and had to carry a plastic handbag. She kept her good humor and just went with the flow. I admired her devotion to her sister,my Aunt Lynette, and my Aunt's devotion to her. Her family always came first. My sincere condolences to Joni and her family. Love, Ellen

Message: The staff and residents of the Holiday will miss our stylish friend Blanche. Her compliments and sunny smile brightened our days. She had great stories to share about dancing with her sisters, working in Hartford and growing up in West Hartford and it was so much fun to sit and reminisce with her. Bingo won't be the same without her! With deepest sympathy, Evelyn
