Message: I worked with Harold back in 1987 at Fafnir Bearing. I was one of two Executive Secretaries, and I found his management style to be unparalleled. He was pleasant and responsive to all employees, no matter what their rank. It was a turbulent time for Fafnir, being sold by Textron, and the factory workers were on strike. Nonetheless, my brief time working with him was something I will always remember. After the sale and merger I moved to another department and was the Fleet Administrator. Harold was about to retire, and I remember him instructing me over and over to be sure there was no company decal on the car he was to receive upon retirement! My condolences to the Brodsky family.

Message: Ron and I are so sorry that we can't be with you, but please know that while we are here in Athens our hearts are in New Britain. Harold was one of the smartest, most sensible, and kindest men I've ever known, and his having gone to MIT was my inspiration for wanting to study physics there. I can't tell you how much it meant to me and Ron, all those many years later, to get reacquainted with Judy and Harold, to spend time with both of them and to understand the example of their lives. We'll look forward to a good visit in August.

Message: Harold was a cousin who always had the right words to make a glass half full. As a child I had lost my mother and it was a confusing time for a ten year old. Harold gave me some words of wisdom that have been with me all these many years. He was a good man and will be missed. Marsha Weitz

Message: I have many wonderful memories dating back to his cool white Mustang from circa 1965 - and also how he came to my mom's funeral last year even though he was not feeling 100% well himself. Just a great friend to our family and we will miss him - Michael Appell
