Message: For Manny, When your beautiful granddaughter, Debbi, came into our family as the love of our son A.J.'s life, she brought with her the spark, the passion, the kindness, the generosity and the "joie de vivre" that she learned from her parents, and from her ultimate role-model, you, Manny. Words can't express how much we will miss your presence at our holiday table, your phonecalls, your jokes, your caring, your friendship and your devotion to our blended families. Our love and support go out to your beautiful Shirley and to Richard and Joyce. You are all our treasured family though the worst and the best of times. Your Mahuten, Jan and Harold Kritzman

Message: I met Manny recently at Hartford Hospital where I volunteer. I hadn't seen him in more than 50 years, since his sports promoting days at the Hartford Auditorium where my father worked. We talked about those days gone by and he spoke clearly with joy and was anxious to get out of the hospital. He still had a good memory and most happily remembered the good he tried to do for people and this is how I will remember him. May God bless him and his family.

Message: Speaking as Jack I will always and forever miss you Manny. You were a tremendous influence in my life. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful a person you were. I, along with many others, have been blessed to have you in our lives. Thank you Manny. My love and sympathy goes out to Shirley, Richard and to Manny's family. Speaking as Yukon Jack I wish to say that Manny was a mentor, a legal professor, a promoter and a guiding light to all of us in the wrestling world. Afa, Rikishi, Yokozuna, myself and others all looked to Manny for fatherly help. Boxing aside, Manny was a icon in Pro Wrestling as well. And we looked upon him as one of us. With love and respect. We have all lost a great man.
