Message: Scott -- Just wanted to pass on my condolences...I have very fond memories of my childhood days hanging around Baltimore Drug, as well as visits at the Hebrew Home when my mom was there. Best to you and your family. Todd

Message: I would like to offer my condolences to the Honiberg/Blum families. I grew up at 1480 Albany Ave. We rented the 3rd floor from Eddies parents and my grandparents rented the second floor. My aunt, uncle and cousin rented across Baltimore St and we were all quite close during the 40's. The Honibergs were just the best family. As a kid i remember getting a dime and going over the the old drug store for a 5 cent coke and a bag of chips. We had a house built in West Hartford and in 1950 moved there. Shortly after, they took the house down for the new drugstore. My grandparents moved across the street and stayed there until they passed away. My aunt, uncle and cousin also moved to West Hartford. I used to see either Aaron or Eddie at a pharmacy in West Hartford I believe. I'm sorry for your loss but it evokes so many wonderful memories of the neighborhood. For example going to the drug store or maybe sitting on the cement wall outside the building and just talking. The Honibergs are a wonderful family and I wish I personally had the opportunity to thank the brothers and Anne. I'll thank you all now for my late older brother and my cousin Sharon. Sincerely, Bruce Collins
