Message: Jan, I was so sorry to hear about your father passing away. What a long and wonderful life he must have had. At this time of sorrow, please know, that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. All the fond memories you and your family have to share with one another will be of great comfort. It seems that we have always lived around the corner from each other. In friendship, Sue (Gajewski)

Message: Dear Lynn, Ted & I enjoyed your's & Mort's friendship for so many years & even though we kept planning to get together & seldom made it, at least we swapped Christmas cards. My heart is with you as I am sure is Ted's from heaven. He passed away just a week ago on Halloween eve. I miss him terribly as I am sure you miss Mort, but at least they are at peace with the Lord. Bless you. Love Joyce

Message: Dear Lynn, John, and Jan, We are so sorry for your loss. Mort was a man who was always a gentle giant to me. Despite his height, he always displayed a gentleness of spirit. His smile and goodness were a blessing. My Mom thought he was a true mensch. Regards from Sukey, Lonnie and family

Message: Dear Mort: For all the summers from 1974 to 1994, we sailed the waters of Long Island Sound, on my sloop the Windsong. Sometimes, we had friends or acquaintances along, those Saturdays, but mostly there was just the two of us. We relaxed from our strenuous week of work. We spent a week of each of those summers having a great time with our wives, both named Lynn, visiting the many ports of the sound from Orient Point to Martha’s Vineyard. I don’t remember a rainy day in any of those glorious weeks. Only once we encountered a thick fog but we navigated safely home. I couldn’t have and wouldn’t have sailed those, carefree, sunny days with the wind in my face, alone. You made it possible. Now you are sailing the uncharted waters of the hereafter, not alone. My thoughts will always be with you. Godspeed, my friend. Jack Bass
