Message: I am so very sorry for the loss of your dear wife, mother, & grandmother. "Mrs. Rulnick" was a good friend of my parents, Al and Dorothy Wendrow when I, as a child, spent my summers at Old Colony Beach. My mom, Mrs. Rulnick, and Ruthie Kanter would sit together and talk for hours on the beach. I can still, in my mind, see them all sitting there. She was the nicest lady and was always so sweet to me. I actually ran into her about a year ago when I was in visiting my Aunt Dorothy Silver at the Home. I went to see my Uncle Manny Wendrow who was there at the day program. He teasingly brought Gloria over to see me to see if I recognized her. I knew who she was in a minute! She had barely changed! It was wonderful to see her again, so healthy and happy. My heart goes out to you all. I'm writing this to extend my condolences and because I know my mother and father would want me to. May she rest in peace and her memory be a blessing for you all. Alene Wendrow

Message: Dear Milt, Alan and I send our deepest sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your beloved wife, Gloria. Gloria was one of my Mom's dearest friends. (I'm guessing my mother saved a seat at the mah jongg table for her in heaven.) She was never without a smile and a kind word... a very special beautiful lady. My memories range from West Hartford to the beach. May her memory be for a blessing to you and your family, forever. We send a long distance hug to each of you. I just shared this awful news with my Dad and he was very saddened by Gloria's passing. "She was a doll!", is what he said. Love, Alan and Marilyn Byer and Milt Golden
